Many of the areas premier homebuilders and remodelers choose to have us provide a "turn key" installation of wood floors purchased from Scherer Brothers. By making a selection of a floor appropriate for the application, the consumer can leave the rest up to us. We will arrange to have the product shipped to the job site, after evaluating for proper conditions. We then assign one of our quality crews to install to the manufacturer's specifications. Whether it be nailing, gluing, or floating, we have the expertise to do it right. If the product is pre-finished at the factory, the process is complete upon installation.

In the case where a raw, unfinished product is installed, we also offer sanding and finishing services. This multi-step process entails several sanding passes and a minimal three-coat finishing application. Utilizing the most up-to-date techniques, the artisan applies the proper finish in one or more methods. Using both waterborne and oil modified urethanes, we have the right solution for your individual needs.

Over time, proper maintenance requires "refresher" coats, which help keep the finish scratch-free and continue its job of protecting the wood. We use screen and re-coat or buff and coat techniques to keep your floor looking and performing great.
