Make no mistake; Mirage Engineered Collection is real wood throughout. Many of the same attributes that make the Classic Collection great are also true of the Engineered Collection. In addition, Mirage Engineered flooring is less thick to be more flexible in retrofit applications, more dimensionally stable, and easier to install.
Unlike most engineered wood floors, Mirage Engineered flooring is made using a dry-sawn method. This is the best way to get a straight, flat product that won't want to change over time. The thicker wearlayer allows for more sanding over time as well as overall better wear, similar to that of a solid wood floor. Mirage Engineered flooring may also be installed above grade, on grade, and even below grade. While you need to be mindful of moisture conditions, the engineered construction allows you to install where no other wood floor belongs.

The Herringbone Series is a variation on Mirage Engineered flooring. The fixed length of the engineered strips makes it possible to create a wide variety of symmetrical patterns for a more stylized effect. It is suggested that when attempting a project with intricate design patterns you work closely with an experienced flooring designer. Herringbone patterns are perfect for customers who want a personal touch that will lend distinctive charm to their floor.
13-3/4" lengths are available in Herringbone, Double Herringbone, and English (bricks) patterns. 17-7/8" lengths are available in Herringbone, Double Herringbone, English (bricks), Basket, and Cube patterns.
