
Beyond the traditional species of flooring such as oak, maple, birch, walnut, hickory, cherry, pine, and ash, exotics consist of unique woods from far off places. Africa and Australia are two such parts of the world. Vastly different environments provide greatly different natural flooring options.
Among the species of wood from Africa are Iroko, Doussie, Padouk, Movingui, Sapele, and Cameron.

Width - 3-1/16" in random lengths
Grading - Clear, Select,& Common
Finish - Some of these products are available prefinished, but are most commonly offered unfinished.
Like those of Africa, woods from Australia are typically much harder than most North American species. Ranging from light to dark, the woods have great variety in the following species: Sydney Blue, Alpine Ash, Karri, Australian Beech, Rose River Gum, Tasmanian Oak, Spotted Gum, Jarrah, Australian Cypress, and Heritage Oak.

Width - Typically 3-1/4" with some available in 2-1/4" & 5-1/4"
Grading - Classic & Australiana
