Trex Wood-Polymer® decking and railing products are a combination of reclaimed plastic and wood. Because of its wood content, Trex decking has the advantages of low thermal expansion and contraction, natural UV stability, good traction and paintability. Plus, Trex decking is just as easy to work with as wood.

Unlike many other plastic decking materials, Trex products are approximately 50% wood and 50% plastic.

The plastic shields the wood from moisture and insect damage, so there is no rotting or splintering. The wood protects the plastic from UV damage and gives your deck a solid, natural feel.
