CorrectDeck™ Composite Decking
CorrectDeck plastic profiles consist of polypropylene, reclaimed hardwood fiber, UV-inhibited pigment systems, as well as selected process additives. The plastic utilized in CorrectDeck™ is a combination of virgin polypropylene and narrow spec reclaimed polypropylene. It is compounded with 60% recovered hardwood fiber into a rigid board stock material.
What does this mean for you? It means that CorrectDeck decking exhibits exceptional resistance to corrosive substances, oil and fuels, insects, fungus, salt spray, and other environmental stresses. The composition does not absorb moisture; therefore it will not rot, splinter or crack. The product requires no waterproofing, painting, staining, or similar maintenance when used in many exterior applications. Even though CorrectDeck products have excellent weathering resistance, the material will fade slightly over the service life of the product.
CorrectDeck products are manufactured in a variety of dimensional lumber sizes, shapes and colors. Also available are planks, posts, rails, and balusters.
CorrectDeck Classic™
CorrectDeck Classic features a traditional fastener system and offers outstanding performance in a traditional deck board profile. CorrectDeck is fastened through the board into the joists below. CorrectDeck Classic boards measure 7/8" x 5-1/2", the same actual dimensions as 5/4" x 6" lumber. Many other composites are substantially thicker in order to achieve an acceptable degree of stiffness, but this can interfere with patio doors and stairs.
