Millwork Solutions · Custom Mouldings

For over 50 years Scherer Bros. Millwork Solutions has been fielding requests from homeowners and those in the construction industry to match existing historic mouldings or to create new moulding patterns. Millwork Solutions has been cataloging these moulding profile knives since the very beginning. We currently have over 1,000 profile knives in our collection and we are adding more every month.

Creating a custom moulding is quite simple. You can supply us with a sample of the moulding you want to match or trace or draw the profile of the moulding. We then grind a knife that matches your moulding pattern exactly. The knife is then placed in one of Millwork Solutions moulders and the moulding is cut from the wood of your choice. After your order has been completed, the new custom-moulding knife is added to our collection.
